Who we are
Complete Uptime Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 61 166 476 553) is a managed IT services provider based in Western Sydney. This policy covers the website at completeuptimesolutions.com.au. It does not cover the IT services we deliver to clients under contract, which are governed by each client agreement.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What this website collects
The website collects personal information only when you type it into one of its three forms:
- Contact form — your name, work email, company, phone (optional), what you need help with and your message.
- Newsletter field in the footer — your email address.
- Free IT health check — your answers to three multiple-choice questions about your business, your work email and your company name.
Each submission is recorded with the date, time and the IP address it came from, which we use to limit abuse of the forms.
Browsing the site collects nothing. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your light-or-dark mode preference, which stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry, book a discovery call, or send the risk snapshot and proposal you asked for.
- To send the quarterly newsletter, if you subscribed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any issue or emailing us.
- To keep a record of enquiries so that nothing you send us is lost.
We do not add contact-form or health-check submissions to any marketing list, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Where it goes and how it is kept
Form submissions are stored in a database on our web server, and a copy is emailed to our office so an engineer can reply. The email is sent through a mail service we operate; the message passes through that service and our Microsoft 365 mailboxes.
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
The web server is protected by a firewall, automatic security updates and key-only administrative access, and the enquiries database is readable only by the server's administrator.
Who we share it with
Nobody, apart from the service providers that host our website and deliver our email. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own use. We may disclose it if the law requires us to.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
Access, correction and questions
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact form or call 02 8214 4612 during business hours (Mon–Fri 9am–6pm AEST). We will respond within a reasonable time, and we do not charge for these requests.
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first and we will investigate and reply. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
